Is there a legitimate lawsuit issue with the use of Accutane or is this a hoax?

I received an email from a lawyer office claiming there is a case against the maker of Accutane (for serious acne), and noted some medical conditions that have been related to its use. Some of the conditions I could kind of say I have been diagnosed with of recent-pre-colitis and anal drainage issues. I used Accutane back in the 1980's when it had just hit the market, I think. Is this email and supposed lawsuit a hoax or legitimate?

I'm sure its legit, but its just a bunch of tort that is hurting our country. These people try to find consumers who were affected by products and sue the companies/doctors so they can get a huge sum of money and pass off a fraction of it to you.
